| Oh joy of joys I got my wisdom teeth out last thursday!!! If you've gotten yours out you will understand the fun and if you haven't well maybe one day you will. Okay here's how it went down I got to eat or drink nothing for like twelve hours before surgery which is always fun. Then when i got there they gave me the pill thing that's supposed to make you tired and loopy, BUT they only waited like 15 minutes after i had taken it so it didn't make me tired or loopy. So I'm like great here i am back here not tired or loopy and then they start doing all this stuff to me. First they do the blood pressure thing on one arm and on the other they start talking about which vein they should stick the needle in which totally grosses me out because first of all i don't like getting shots and second I REALLY DON'T like getting shots and then they like put the little heart monitor sticky things on me and put a towel over me I don't know why. Then the lady says something along the lines of your hand is cold and when i put this needle in it will only be a little poke, having experience with needles i know that it isn't just a little poke. So they stick the needle in and put on this thing on my finger that is called an oxymeter or something like that. Then they put on this oxygen mask and say here's some oxygen and I'm thinking please just knock me out soon which they thankfully did like after I took two breaths I was gone oh and they knock you out with anithesia through the needle not the mask. So the next thing I know i'm in the same room and really really tired. Then they walk me to the recovery room which is basically a bed and a chair for the parent. So i go lie down and they put an other oxymeter thing on my finger and say to my mom watch this number thing here and if it goes below 85 or some number call me(it never went below like 97 so don't worry I was fine). Now this lady tells my mom that they will have to take an x-ray because there was a small fragment of a tooth that didn't come out and they think that it came out in the siphon but they have to be sure. She keeps asking me how i feel because it's her job but the problem is i just woke up from anithesia my jaw is numb my lips are numb my tongue is numb and i have two big pieces of gauze in my mouth and she expects a reply?!?! so i say something like garguth and she's like okay let's go get that x-ray so we do then i go back to the recovery room for a little while my mom drives the car around the the patient pick-up area where i then am herded into the car and driven home. So basically for the past however many days I have been sitting around taking pain medicine and eating pudding, if fact I don't think I've ever had so much pudding in my life in such a small amount of time. At least the swelling has gone down some i used to look like a chipmunk :) | | |
| I'M BACK!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! It's been a while and I am now 16 happy birthday to me!!!! They gave me a cake down at Dauphin Island which was great by the way i'll post more later on that and the reunion of our family but for now all you need to know is that I'm back! | | |
| I'm leaving for Dauphin Island on sunday!!!! and I won't be back tell July 8th which is really weird to think about, I wonder if sushi will die? I hope not because I like even though she whinny and annoying and pretends to be hurt and is ugly....umm what was I saying? oh yeah, I'm leaving for like a month and i got a CELL PHONE!!!! YAY!!! excitment it might not be that great for somebody whos already had a cell phone but this is my first so I'm excited and you know what!?!?! IT'S BLUE!!!! Oh yeah and when I get back i'll post lots of pictures of me being hot and sunburned for you all to enjoy!!! | | |
| my back hurts arggg stupid rollercoaster!!! oh well it was fun except for whichever rollercoaster made my back hurt that one sucks. So i wen to six flags over georgia and overcame my fear of rollercoasters but i still don't like drops ugh those aren't fun at all | | |
| Braces are gone and I'm gonna go get my retainers tomorrow and you know what I just realized retainers retain your smile duh! helped buile a wheelchair ramp our supervisor, Mr. Higgens, wasn't exactly the umm sharpest tool in the shed and kept calling me honey, mostly because I think he forgot my name then went camping with kimberly which was incredibly fun for full details you can go read her xanga because I don't feel like having to type that much and that is basically it oh yeah and katie's coming home and then I'm going to six flags(shudder) hopefully to overcome my fear of rollercoasters and that's about it. | | |
